Media Advisory I Mercy Mission Report: Reflective of Aquino’s two- year record of human rights violations; Exposes blood behind the yellow mask

The 8-day Peace Caravan and Mercy Mission in the Province of Quezon by the Save Bondoc Peninsula Movement (SBPM) that started on June 25 has gathered glaring reports that will strip-off the yellow mask of the human rights situation under the Aquino regime. A Public and Media Forum will be held on July 2, 2012 9:00 am at the Claro M. Recto Hall, UP Faculty Center, University of the Philippines-Diliman.

Highlights:

  • Presentation of documented cases of human rights violations perpetrated by the military
  • Video presentation of the conduct of the Peace Caravan and Mercy Mission
  • Launching of the Piso-for-Peace & 1-Million Peace Crane Campaign
  • Live painting of two-panel 5 ft x 8 ft mural by various artists’ groups

At 1PM, the group will hold a protest action at the Aquino residence in Times Street to call for the immediate pull-out of 8-Battalions of AFP-PNP-CAFGU in South Quezon and Bondoc Peninsula.
